Creative Energies Solar Donates Installation Labor to 9H Research Foundation

LARAMIE, Wyo., February 25, 2021 – Creative Energies Solar has donated over $20,000 in solar installation labor for the 3MW Clean Energy Research Facility being built by the 9H Research Foundation. Creative Energies is the premier Wyoming-based Solar Contractor performing Solar Design, Installation, Service, and Maintenance since 2001. CE Solar recently installed a 600+kW Solar facility for the town of Jackson and operates in Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. A certified B Corp, CE Solar works out of net-zero offices. For every solar array they install, their Give Back program donates to the Honnold Foundation solar energy grants.

9H Research Foundation is building a philanthropic Student Research Facility to Gift $10+ million in clean energy and in-kind support services to the University of Wyoming over the project lifetime (3MW Solar Facility). The Clean Energy Research Facility supports the creation of a world-class Clean Energy Engineering Curriculum for the University. Providing hand-on research experiences, 9H is sponsoring 31 UW senior design students competing in a $5,000 clean energy design challenge. To drive student innovation, 9H is also funding 7 student groups to design and build solar and energy storage projects, as well as hiring student interns. In line with the Governor’s WIN Initiative, 9H is presenting a Business Model for the state: attract industry by providing them with solar energy, abundant Wyoming natural gas, a skilled workforce, and state tax incentives.
